Let your child spend a few hours getting properly muddy and making stuff out of clay under the watchful, patient eyes of experienced tutors from CLAY CLUB, based in Hackney. The sessions cover the basics of working with clay, from sensory play to simple forming and throwing techniques, all tied to playful themes that help imagination turn into real objects. Think less screen scrolling and more squelchy, focused making that quietly practices patience and concentration.

The classes are held in Studio Pottery London's teaching space at 29 Eccleston Place, London SW1W 9NF on 29 May 2026. Each pupil will keep two finished vessels; the studio will glaze and fire them and they can be collected within 24 weeks. No previous experience required and all levels are welcome.
