Who is Louise?
Louise is a pianist and teacher based in Alton, Hampshire, and takes great pleasure from seeing her students experience this too.
"Playing the piano stimulates the brain, gives you a challenge and can be an excellent way of unwinding, as well as providing an outlet for expression", says Louise.
She is an enthusiastic, encouraging and patient teacher who is also DBS approved.
Why choose online piano lessons?
For a lot of parents, committing to weekly piano lessons is a daunting prospect for many reasons. It’s a big investment time-wise and financially, and many parents often don’t have a clear view of what is involved until their child is already in their first lesson with a teacher. Louise’s Introduction to Piano Course bridges that gap.
At the end of this course, your child will have been introduced to the joys of making music in a fun and creative way. Louise gives them the basic skills they need to develop a relationship with the piano, and a lifelong love of music.
This course totals 12 lessons, with approximately 15-20 minutes of teaching and 5-10 minutes of practise time in each.
What is needed for an online lesson?
A piano or keyboard (smallish keyboard with unweighted keys is sufficient)
A chair or stool (preferably adjustable, but this isn’t essential – cushions can be used if necessary to get the right height)
