Cherrystars Stage and Screen School is putting on Annie Jr on 27 June 2026 at Stanley Hall in South Norwood. It's the familiar tale of a small girl whose optimism refuses to be knocked down by a tough life in an orphanage, performed by a lively cast of young people.

Expect plenty of singing, some earnest acting, and the comforting inevitability of the song Tomorrow making an appearance. Suitable for all ages, so anyone who likes a bit of theatre, nostalgia or a dependable earworm should find it entertaining.
