Fancy a bit of a relaxed day out in a pleasant green space. The is apparently set to grace Bowling Green Broomfield Park on Saturday, 9th August 2025. It's billed as a rather charming affair, promising a mix of music, good scran, decent beverages, and generally positive vibes. You're encouraged to have a wander, discover what hidden nooks there are, perhaps have a bit of a wiggle to some tunes, and potentially connect with individuals who share your enthusiasm for not being stuck indoors. The plan is for the younger generation to be thoroughly entertained, which might just leave you feeling somewhat rejuvenated and, dare we say, a tad inspired, instead of just utterly knackered.

Upon your arrival, a warm steel pan serenade awaits. Should you feel inclined to learn a new trick (or simply show off your two left feet), there are salsa lessons on the cards. And for those who appreciate a bit of vocal talent, international soul singing sensation Don-E is scheduled to make a special appearance. Oh, and here's a little sweetener: the first fifty folk through the gate get either a free ice cream or a rum punch cocktail. Just a heads-up, so you know what's what.
