If you like the idea of turning Thames flotsam into something halfway between art and a souvenir, this is an easygoing craft session to wander into. It's a free family drop-in in the foyer where children and adults can get messy and make a little bit of history of their own from foreshore-inspired bits and bobs.

You can piece together paper collage mosaic boats that pretend to sail, thread a bead bracelet with a nod to Roman finds, or stitch a winking cat badge straight out of Victorian oddities. Sessions take place on 27 and 28 September 2025.
