A list of the best places in London to take your family for a juicy burger
How fun are burgers for a family meal? Perfect for picky eaters as they can be taken apart and reassembled with only the best bits. Everyone has a favourite burger. You can go the traditional cheeseburger. Maybe a chicken burger is more your thing. Or a delicious veggie burger.
London has some truly delicious burger places to choose from. Here is my list of the top places. This is sure to be heavily contested, as burger lovers are a loyal bunch and I am sure you have your favourite picks.
Because I know we are all adventurous and often have to eat the same food over and over again because that's what our kids like, I have included the best sounding burger from each place for the adults to try. Go on, live dangerously.
With 25 locations throughout London, there is a reason Honest Burgers are so popular. Juicy beef patties are made at their own butchery and the signature rosemary chips are cut and cooked fresh daily. All produce is fresh and local and that is what makes them truly stand apart.
For the kids, there is a dedicated kids menu with chicken, beef or veggie burgers served with chips on a play mat to keep them occupied.

Another institution, you will always feel welcome bringing your family along to a Shake Shack as they are totally kid friendly and down to earth. An import from the US, Shake Shack has taken London by storm and there are now nine locations throughout London.
For the kids, each location has done something special. But they will love you forever if you serve them up a signature shake. Come for the burgers. Stay for the concretes. Dense, rich and creamy frozen custard. Yum!

Specialising in roast meat sandwiches dipped in gravy and flat griddle smashed burgers, Dip and Flip now has four locations of gravy goodness in London. They even have a pop up.
The Dip side uses country beef or lamb dipped in gravy and served in a fresh bread roll with even more gravy on the side. The Flip side uses country beef on a soft brioche bun with mustard, ketchup, American cheese, cabbage slaw and pickles.

What started as a pop up has now moved in permanently to the Old Spitalfields Market and three other take out joints in London. So if you want another family day out to the markets, Bleecker Burger would be an awesome option.
