Think of it as a mini bioblitz for kids: a laid-back, detective-style wander around the park to spot plants, bugs and feathered neighbours, with a smattering of friendly challenge for anyone who likes a bit of nature-based competition. It's more about curiosity than expertise, and laughter is an acceptable side effect.

An adult must accompany children, so you'll be there as the official bug?spotting chaperone rather than a passive spectator, ready to help with tricky identifications or to negotiate peace treaties between arguing siblings and particularly elusive worms.
