It seems someone's decided that black beans have a greater destiny than just accompanying your tacos. There's a chance to discover their hidden talent for becoming ink. You'll get to whip up your own batch of this rather surprising pigment, and then delve into the slightly magical world of how its colour can shift just by changing its pH.

Once you've mastered the bean to ink transformation and seen its chameleon like qualities, it's time to get hands on. You'll be using these natural concoctions to create marks on both paper and fabric, bringing some art to life with ingredients usually found in the kitchen cupboard. Artist Megan Willow Hack will be on hand to guide the whole adventure, ensuring nobody accidentally tries to eat their masterpiece.
