Terry Riley's "" is what you'd call a musical game-changer, first hitting the scene in 1964 and strutting its minimalist stuff like it owned the place. The score is basically a treasure map of 53 musical phrases, crafted more like a set of quirky instructions for musicians than a traditional piece of sheet music. Enter Sasha Waltz and her crew of dancers, who took this open-ended score and created a lively dance interpretation that's anything but set in stone—think of it as a dance party with a side of improvisation, where the rules are laid down but the moves can go anywhere.

What you get is an experimental extravaganza of 53 choreographic figures that shows off the relationship between dance, music, and space, both in the digital realm and your good old physical world.
