Wide open space with lots for the kids to play with

[Link http://www.clissoldpark.com/ ] is a highly recommended park by many of our London Mums Group members. And for good reason! The playground is a lovely big open space with lots of different climbing apparatus, swings and slides to suit children of all ages.

Located in Stoke Newington in Hackney, is a place for walkers, joggers, cyclists, nature lovers and most of all, families with kids. has so many facilities that makes it a great park. There is a large, well equipped playground suitable for children of all ages. The play equipment includes climbing apparatus, swings and slides, a bridge and sand.

As well as the playground, there is also a paddling pool operating in the summer months for a splash and a cool down, a wheels park, multi use game area, table tennis tables, tennis courts and tennis pavilion and lakes and woodland areas to enjoy the great outdoors.



If you are an animal lover, also has a dog free area, an aviary, a butterly dome and a large animal enclosure including deer and goats.



If you are looking for activities, there is an organic market garden and a One O’clock Club for 0-5 year olds that is operating 1-4pm from Monday to Friday. For more information on this, you can contact 020 8809 6700.

Another feature is Clissold House, which includes the cafe and rooms of varying sizes which are available for community use and for private hire. You can pick up refreshments to either dine in or takeaway at the cafe, so it is the perfect place to get your coffee so you can have it in hand while you watch your little ones play.
