If youre in or near London on October 17, 2025, and fancy a spot of family-friendly comedy, Cabaret Hullabaloo is popping up at Thomas Tallis School on Kidbrooke Park Road in Blackheath. Its put together by the Tallis PTFA, with local parent Jon Hicks and his mates leading the charge for an evening of what the Guardian calls inspired silliness. Picture this: acrobatic elephants parading about, a dog pulling off stunts thatd make you question pet insurance, and a bloke who paints in a way thats literally beyond numbers, all handled with the smooth flair of a seasoned variety pro whos been wowing crowds at festivals, theatres, and telly screens worldwide for a quarter-century.

The whole things got endorsements from the likes of Graham Norton calling it amazing, Ronnie Wood wondering how on earth its done, and The Stage labelling it sensational, but really, its just a load of proper daft fun thatll have you chuckling from your gut. If those cheeky street performers in Covent Garden have ever cracked you up, thisll feel like a right treat in that vein. And no worries if your kids arent at Tallis, everyone's welcome to join in the giggles.
