Birds, bees and a handful of other pollinators take centre stage in a relaxed, slightly nerdy way. Through hands on activities, some careful bee spotting and a bit of honey tasting, the session looks at how these small creatures help get food from field to fork and what practical steps people can take to help them survive in city life.

The event is run by Nature & Bliss, a social and educational enterprise that delivers outdoor learning through edible teaching gardens and a Growing Space. There will be a mix of simple science, practical gardening tips and enough curious facts to distract you from your phone for an hour or two.
