A list of football classes aimed at toddlers

Is there anything more adorable than watching your little ones trying something active and new while wearing a teeny tiny jersey? You can stand on the side lines cheering and waving and beaming with pride. This is it, your little one is growing up.

London has so many different sports and active programs happening every day. Whether you call it football or soccer, it is a great game to start your toddlers sporting life and give them a chance to become healthy and active kids early on. Plus it is a 'goal' lot of fun.

Here is a list of some football classes available just for the toddlers.

1. The Little Foxes Club

The Little Foxes Club is open to kids from 18 months old all the way up to 14 years and is for kids of all abilities. Children will learn to work together as part of a team, all while having fun. Offering weekly term based classes, football camps and masterclasses, Little Foxes will also come to your next birthday party.

2. Micro Sport

Operating for 25 years, Micro Sport offers your little ones the skills in not just football, but a range of sports. So they can find which one they are most suited to. With classes from 2 years of age, parent participation is encouraged and classes teach basic ball skills such as throwing, catching, hitting & aiming and cover ball sports such as basketball, football, tennis, hockey and cricket. All coaches are trained, experienced and parents themselves so they understand how to make classes fun and not intimidating.

3. Little Kickers

Little Kickers is a pre school football program that focusses on fun first and play not push. Their aim is to deliver a high quality soccer program where your child can learn the skills of the game, combined with other important skills like colour and number recognition, sharing, following instructions and using imagination.

There are four different classes starting with Little Kicks, which is aimed at toddlers aged 18 month to 2 years. In this class, parent participation is required in a play-oriented yet structured format. The next class up is Junior Kickers for children aged 2 to 3.5 years.

4. Pro Elite Football Academy

At Pro Elite, your kids are introduced to the basics of football in a play oriented environment. Classes start at 18 months and will help your toddler both develop physically as well as improving cognitive and social skills. Play is combined with repetition and structure, and with parent participation, it is sure to be a fun experience for all.
