Fancy catching The Nutcracker in a pint-sized version at the Shaw Theatre this New Year's Eve. It sold out everywhere last year and now its back with all the familiar characters and Tchaikovsky tunes trimmed down for short attention spans. Perfect for sneaking in the kids without them fidgeting through a full length ballet marathon.

Clara teams up with her Nutcracker Prince for a midnight adventure dodging the cheeky Mouse King before landing in the sugary paradise with the Sugar Plum Fairy. Professional dancers pull off the moves so you can all enjoy a bit of classical fun without the stiff upper lip routine.
