Brockwell Park's paddling pool and fountains will be the setting for a relaxed, water-based afternoon where children can splash about, run through jets of water and enjoy some proper summer fun. Fingers crossed for sunshine; if the weather turns, there will be a sensible backup plan so no one ends up shivering on the way home.

While the children play, a therapist and an event helper will be on hand to support inclusion and help nurture friendships and social skills, and parents and carers can relax on the grass nearby, watch, chat or quietly inspect soggy socks. Please bring your own picnic lunch, towels, a rug and water friendly clothes. This event is for autistic and neurodivergent children aged 8 to 11 with conversational communication.
