The circus is coming to town this half term!
Half term is the perfect time for the kids to relax and recharge with a trip to a very special circus, created by celebrated children's poet Roger McGough.
Sky in the Pie is no ordinary circus. Together with The Feathers of Daedalus Circus, Roger has created a wonderfully wacky production for children to inspire them to fall in love with poetry.
This spectacle of circus, puppetry, poetry and music is sure to amaze, inspire and educate. It will run at the OSO Arts Centre from Monday, 17th February to Saturday, 22nd February at 2pm.
Using elements of circus, physical theatre, puppetry and projection, the Feathers explore fun and fantastical ways to play with poetry.
Sky in the Pie will use poetry from Roger’s 50-year career to follow a day in the life of a day-dreaming boy, exploring the extraordinary that can be found in the ordinary.
Give your children the gift of poetry and circus these half term holidays.
