In this fun and fast-paced 2-hour session we will focus on breaking down the landscape into simplified masses into order to create a powerful poetic statement of its essential elements. You will be guided to complete some premilinary drawing exercises to help you arrive at a clear design for your painting. You will then go on to complete an impressionist rendering of your chosen subject using a limited palette of yellow, red, blue, brown and white. You will be advised to simplify what you see and keep things loose, while focusing on a specific idea for your painting

You will have a chance to meet and greet like-minded people, choose your own subject in the park, and receive expert guidance from an award-winning professional artist while you complete the excersises and artwork.
