The Developmental Change & Plasticity Lab (DCP) is a research group at University College London that studies how children's behaviour and their brain changes as they grow up.

DCP researchers are currently running a study on how helping, sharing and comforting behaviours develop in children aged between 3 and 6 years.

How it works

Researchers will be using fun science activities to test children's behaviour.

Children from 5 y.o. will also get the chance to have a picture of their brain taken in a neuroimaging lab! Researchers often find this is the most exciting part of the day for children.

How your child can participate

DCP has received a lot of support from parents, who find it an interesting an educational day out for their children.

If you are interested in taking part in DCP's important research, please get in touch via email: dcp-lab@ucl.ac.uk
