Hi, mums hope you're all coping well.
I have an 18 months old son and a 5year old daughter. I'm a bit worried about his speech. He's turned 18 months and not speaking much. About 6-8 months ago he was saying mama and papa and baba and then as his molar teeth started to come out he stopped speaking completely. Just normal babble kids say.m but no mama' papa' etc as he did before. He's also a dummy wearer. I'm getting worried as with my older daughter she spoke more at his age but she did not wear a dummy completely. ( I don't know if dummy has any significant here) But just wanted to see if any mums with similar aged babies had similar issues. Just to put my mind at ease. I'm thinking of going to see a paediatrician check him up. Due to COVID his health visitor never seen him properly at his 1-year review or after and . Thank you all in advance
