A great activity for the animal lover in your family
Arguably the most beautiful park in London, but did you know that you could still ride horses through Hyde Park? You can actually ride on Rotten Row, which has been the most famous equestrian venue for over 300 years. That is pretty amazing! You can ride right by Serpentine Lake, and imagine yourself as one of the 'ton' back in the day.

[Link https://hydeparkstables.com/ ] offers both adults and children five years and older riding lessons all year round. The first ride starts at 9am and last ride starts at 4pm 7 days a week.
You can choose between either a horse or a pony and there are animals for every ability. You do not have to a be a seasoned rider to enjoy your day. You can just have a fun ride through the park or a lesson.

Hyde Park stables has either private or semi private lessons with a mounted escort through Hyde Park. Or you can have a formal lesson in the riding arena where you can learn the art of dressage and improve your riding skills.

If you have a child that really loves horses and ponies and is working towards tests and badges, they can do a half day camp. For £253, you get a one hour lesson, a one hour arena lesson and a one hour practical lecture.
