The is a laid-back way for kids to spend the day dipping into books and getting crafty with some colouring and creative fiddling around, all without the pressure of turning into mini Shakespeares. It's the sort of event where little ones might actually forget they're learning, until they realise they've smudged paint on their favourite storybook character.

After the indoor antics at West Norwood Library and Picturehouse on Norwood High Street in London SE27 9JX, the group will amble over to Active Lambeth leisure centre for a gentle nudge into water safety basics and a first splash at swimming. It's happening on October 30, 2025, perfect for half-term wanderers within easy reach of London.
