London-based singer-songwriter/drummer Eleonora Claps has just released her second album 10pm, described as 'an inventive, positive-spirited album packed with beats and choruses that stick in the brain' by Jazz Journal!
With 10 originals about the passing of time, memories of the past, and the speed of life, 10pm features the lead single 'Working' described by Eleonora as a '... song for exhausted working mums.'
'The song is all about exhaustion, and needing to cram 2,000 things into 24 hours every day. It is something that, as a mother of two with a full-time (day) job, I am particularly affected by (I am exhausted!). But it really is such a common experience these days, when everything is done at such speed.'
The fun music video for 'Working' was filmed in Brixton, London and centres on real-life moments all mums can relate to - 'the laundry clothes pile-on is a particular favourite!' said Eleonora.
Featuring a few local ladies who Eleonora personally knows, including neighbours, friends and school mums, the joyful music video sees mums enjoying much-needed liberation via a street party - with a drink in hand, of course!
10pm, with Eleonora as a singer and drummer, John Crawford on piano and Andy Hamill on bass, is out now on Bandcamp . On its release in Spring 2024, it received rave reviews from the UK and foreign press.
10pm follows Eleonora's debut album Stars which included originals as well as jazzy arrangements of pop tunes by Prefab Sprout, Cyndi Lauper, and Simply Red amongst others.
