Think wasps exist only to ruin barbecues and cause frantic waving at the sky. Lucia's workshop takes a gentler view, blending a bit of creativity with clear explanations to show why these striped neighbours are important players in healthy ecosystems.

Suitable for all ages and part of the Grant Museum's World of Wasps exhibition, the session is relaxed and hands on so you can learn without needing any prior insect credentials. It is free to attend and aims to swap a little fear for curiosity.
