I love chocolate. It is a slight obsession of mine and one I try not to indulge too much so it remains a special treat. So when I do decide to cure those cravings, I want it to be truly excellent.
Here are some of the best places in London to go to for amazing chocolate. We may have missed International Chocolate Day on 7 July, but truly, chocolate can be enjoyed on any day of the year.

Not quite your typical museum. Probably more interesting to kids than some you have taken them too though! Located in Brixton, The Chocolate Museum currently has a tasting trail, where you can taste and learn about the history of chocolate. It is a bit of a crazy name, but it is recommended by chocoholics across London. Selling unbelievable cakes and chocolates, that are handmade, you can pop into their shop or even order a bespoke cake for your next party. Or just a Tuesday afternoon. Some of the bestselling chocolate includes rose and violet creams, chocolate marshmallow, salted caramel mendiants and rice krispy and fudge chunky bars.

As well as having incredible chocolate, Melt also has lollipop making classes for kids. Children get involved with some hands-on piping and painting with coloured cocoa butters and create their own unique design on a milk or dark lollipop. There are also classes for teenagers where they can learn about chocolate and get stuck into the making of it. Melt also has sugar free chocolate on offer if that is more your thing!
