Y'earn - rent what your child needs as long as they need it

by Kim (follow)
Switch to a sustainable option that also saves you time and money.

Y’earn is a parent-to-parent marketplace where you can rent Baby & Kids items from people and small businesses in your local community.

Simply search by a category and find a 'Bundle' of items you love:
Nursery & Bedroom - furniture as well as decorative and play items
Around the home - gates and bouncers to keep kids safe, as well as bathroom and playroom items
Feeding - sterilisers and breast pumps, as well as highchairs and helper towers
Out and about - prams, car seats, bags, kids suitcases, bike seats, harnesses and more!

There are lots of reasons to join the community, here are some of our favourites:

What they need, when they need it
Who cares if they grow out of it in no time if you haven’t got to keep it forever? You can have everything your child needs at the moment, whether that moment is 1 wk or 12 mths.
Spend Less for More Quality
Time or cash strapped? You can still have the greatest and latest items. You could even see it as payment instalments and purchase at the end of the rental.
Help other parents
With Y’earn, it’s your community that truly wins. Get everything your child needs, while helping parents make room and money for theirs. Together, we pay it forward by donating time, money and goods to charity.
Keep Mother Nature Happy
Together, we’re reducing waste by reusing items instead of buying new. We’ll plant a tree for every rental and adopt a bee if you refer us.

The Y'earn community consists of two parts:

Yearners: People that want items. Yearners can focus on creating important memories with their children without spending endless hours researching and shopping for everything they need. Whether you rent short-term or long-term, you can save cash and help Mother Nature by upcycling and re-using essential items.
Earners: People that make money from items. Whether you need the money, space or want to help others less fortunate, As an earners, you can rent items for as long as you like. You can then decide to sell, donate to charity, or have them returned before your next child needs them.

Whether you’re a Yearner or an Earner (or both!), you’ll be part of a community that helps each other and the planet.

Learn more about why Y'earn was created here and sign up for their newsletter and they will plant a tree for you.

How does Y'earn support charities?

Y’earn helps you save or make money, whilst helping your community and the planet. For every new rental they plant a tree, for every referral they adopt bees and pay for hives.

Y'earn donates time, money and goods to charities and makes it easy for the community to do the same. Read more about how Y'earn gives back to charities and the environment here.
