Where To Donate Items For London Families In Need

by Rebecca Formston (follow)
Trying to find somewhere to take all those baby items you no longer need?

These fantastic London organisations offer fantastic services by providing donations of used goods for children and babies for families in need.

1. Little Village

Little Village provides good quality baby clothes and equipment, donated by families for families who need it. From good quality donations, they create beautiful gift type bags to give out. Before you take any donations, check out their Wishlist for what items are needed and what they are unable to accept. Little Village is taking donations in Wandsworth and Camden.

2. The Small Project

The Small Project is a baby clothes library in South London and provides donated baby clothes and equipment for families in need. If you are interested in donating, please check here for a list of items they normally accept.

3. Stripey Stork

Stripey Stork are a Surrey-based charity committed to seeing valuable resources being reused in the community. They support families experiencing hardships by collecting donations of baby equipment, clothes and toys that are in great condition to pass on as a gift to those families. Check out all the details on how and what to donate here.

4. Mums The World

Mums The World charity aims to relieve the poverty of orphans and young people in need by providing clothing, collected from donations, to personally deliver to orphanages, children's homes and street families abroad, as well as families in need in London. You can donate clothes via post or to their London location, see more information here.
