Meeting Father Christmas is a special tradition in the lead up to Christmas and there are many wonderful places to take the family to get into the Christmas spirit.

1. Father Christmas at Hamleys Dates: 25th November - 24th December
Join Santa and his Elves this year at Hamleys for an extra special experience. There'll be fun, magic and theatre, with each little visitor being able to take part in Christmas activities, spend time with Santa and receive a special gift bag to take home. Bookings essential.
Also, don't miss the spectacular annual Hamley's Christmas Toy Parade along Regents Street, on 19th November, where kids can spot all their favourite toys as well as Father Christmas himself.
2. Santa's Grotto at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Dates: 17th November - 1st January
Santa will be opening the doors to his grotto everyday from 10am until 6pm and children will have a truly magical Christmas experience. Visit his toy factory, enjoy the rides and eat delicious food, plus say hello to Santa himself. Advanced bookings to meet Santa aren't available, so be sure the head there early to avoid long queues.
3. Father Christmas at The Mall, Wood Green Dates: 25th November - 24th December
There's going to be a magical pixie hollow this Christmas at The Mall Wood Green, where you can meet Santa and his elves. Bookings are recommended to avoid long queues.
4. Santa at Battersea Park Children's Zoo Dates: 2nd - 3rd December, 9th - 10th December, 15th - 24th December
Santa is coming to visit the zoo! Tickets can be booked in advance and visits will include a sticker, small gift, a drink and a Christmas treat. Children can play on the swings and slides while they wait to see Santa and once finished can go and enjoy the animals.
5. Father Christmas at The Hall, Royal Albert Hall Dates: 5th - 24th December
Father Christmas needs your help this Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall. His sleigh needs fixing with lots of Christmas cheer! You'll find the Hall transformed into a festive wonderland, where you will commence on an interactive journey, meet magical creatures, play games and sing songs, ending up with a visit to Father Christmas. Children will receive a gift and have a photo opportunity with him.
6. Santa's Grotto at The Rainforest Cafe Dates: Every Saturday and Sunday from 12th November and then everyday from 28th November
Santa's Grotto has appeared at the family loved restaurant, The Rainforest Cafe. This magical experience includes a personalised visit to Santa, plus a 2 course kids meal and a drink. Bookings recommended.
7. Kingston Christmas Market Dates: 16th - 31st December
Set within Kingston's Ancient Market Place and it's surrounding streets, comes a festive market and wonderful Christmas experience. Wander amongst the traditional wooden chalets and enjoy the festive food, drink and merchandise and take the little ones along to the children's Christmas zone. Here they will find funfair rides, a forest of candy canes and a chance to meet Santa and his elves.
8. The Ultimate LEGO Christmas, LEGOLAND Dates: 2nd - 3rd December, 9th - 10th December, 16th - 24th December
For an extra special treat this Christmas that the whole family will love, head to LEGOLAND in Windsor for the Ultimate LEGO Christmas. The experience will be like no other; see the park like you've never seen it before and full of Christmas LEGO magic and imagination! Enjoy a Christmas Land full of rides, shows and attractions, plus families can take part in building together and go on a scavenger hunt. The extra special part of the day will be meeting Father Christmas in his magical grotto, where each child will receive a LEGO gift.
